Saw an AMG GTR at the Benz dealership recently. HOT.

Poor BMW, it got absolutely thrashed.
I mentioned this sometime ago but it bares repeating: AMG has done an amazing job with the progression from the SLR->SLS->AMG GT. Their super cars have gotten considerably cheaper and more capable each time.
I don't know a super saloon car is really supposed to compete against top level sports cars

Then BMW shouldn't price it anywhere near those cars (M4 GTS MSRP is a galactic $134k whereas the 911 GT3 RS is $144k and the AMG GTR is $157k).
They sold every one which means the pricing was correct
Still a terrible value in its competitions context

It matters for a limited production run that was sold out immediately because?

Other cars exist. I'm pretty sure GT3 RS production has ended as well. By your logic we shouldn't compare these cars at all. But I think we should, and the M4 is the clear loser here.
