Title: Honda Sports EV Concept
Post by: Payman on October 25, 2017, 06:05:41 AM
Partner to the Urban EV Concept found in this section. I like this. I'm a huge fan of simple, clean design.

Yeah i dig that.

Would love it if they actually made something like that, but won't get my hopes up.

Yeah, that looks great.  I like both the Urban EV and this.  Haven't seen an interior yet, but if this is the future of Honda styling, I'm all about it.

Looks great.  Why do I need AI in a sports coupe unless it's self-driving?  And why would I want a self-driving sport coupe?

It will be interesting to see the AI sensors & junk integrated into design instead of that unwieldy mounted on the roof after-thought crap.

The proportions look off.

Oh fuck off.

The proportions look weirdly FWD, the relationship between the front wheel and A-pillar look more similar to a Honda Civic rather than a Honda S2000. It's also got a fairly long (by comparison) front overhang. I wish the A-pillar was pushed back more, maybe if the wheelbase was longer.

Are we looking at the same concept?

Maybe the scale of the wheels don't help?

It would look better with less rim and more tire sidewall, but that's a pretty minor nit.  I wouldn't say the proportions are just for that any more than I'd say the proportions of an FD3 RX7 are off when somebody slaps huge wheels and rubber band tires on it.

No, I think the openings are too big.
