Title: US spec Touareg revealed
Post by: 12,000 RPM on March 27, 2018, 04:37:51 PM
http://www.autonews.com/article/20180327/OEM04/180329676/volkswagen-atlas-cross-sport-concept-tech-powertrain

Cliffs:

Same wheelbase as Atlas but 8" shorter length and no 3rd row
Good ol' 3.6 VR6 bolstered by electric motors out back
Nice interior

For the life of me I cannot come up with a reason why the Touareg should exist alongside this... anywhere

Sell me on the Touareg over this

The Touareg is a luxury car with luxury-grade refinement and interior quality. The Atlas is a mainstream car with mainstream-grade refinement and interior quality. The difference between the seven-passenger Atlas and a Q7.

Wrong and misleading thread title ... nothing to do with the Touareg
