Title: 911 GT3 cabriolet
Post by: Galaxy on June 08, 2018, 04:25:16 PM
Well it is called a speedster, but it is based on the GT3. What bothers me about the models were Porsche yanks the nav screens is that they do not bother to fill the hole.

911s have never really excited me.  Porsches in general, I guess.  Sweet cars, just not my cuppotea.

It's hardly the last 911 or GT3 (or sadly 911 GT3 cabriolet)

Yeah, I hate garbage - it's called taste, something you apparently don't have.

And no worries, I'm planning a NC trip to BPC, I'll be happy to say it to your face then. Just let me know.

Be what guy?
Why should anyone take any advice from you?
How bad are things in your life that you have to offer to fight people on the internet to feel better?

You do know that the 100% sure fire way to know that you are an absolute garbage human being is to start physically threatening people over internet disagreements, right?

Getting in a fight over somebody making fun of you over the internet doesn't make you a badass. It makes you an idiot manchild.

Reading isn't your strong point, but then again, what is? He assumed (incorrectly) that I wouldn't make such comments to someone's face. I told him I would be in his area soon enough, and he could test that theory.

Yeah, and all those years of you assuming I didn't have a car and I drove an economy car - looks like you were wrong. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Keep those hamster wheels turning.

You were probably saving up towards buying something you weren't ashamed of, under the false assumption anybody cared.

And considering your long storied history of bravado frosted cowardice on a message board, any notions of you demonstrating real life bravery are theoretical at best

No dude, its 100% about you. You're the idiot that goes around threatening people by implication and then doesn't even have the cojones to own up to it. You're the one that is so negative, so hateful of everything other than what you approve of that that any other opinion becomes a cause for being an asshole. And no, I didn't 'break up' with my girlfriend over a difference of opinion (And actually, we broke up recently because I got tired of her shit) but yeah - keep talking about things you CLEARLY don't know. It's a common theme with you. And don't think I didn't note the attempt to bring my personal life into this (which is low, but Luckly I know that's the best you can do, so have at it)

Notice I don't raise a stink about what you like because I don't care. I think I can count on 1 hand how many times I've directly communicated to you (this thread included) why the should I care about your opinion when I already have my own? Sure there are nicer ways to say 'your taste in cars suck and you're an idiot' but why would I do that when being direct is so much easier, and you're not worth the effort?

I think I can count on 1 hand how many times I've directly communicated to you (this thread included) why the should I care about your opinion when I already have my own? Sure there are nicer ways to say 'your taste in cars suck and you're an idiot' but why would I do that when being direct is so much easier, and you're not worth the effort?

I'm going on information you gave. If you lie about your situation, don't blame me for accepting it as fact.

Why do you keep responding then? You're not beng direct; just an ass. The sooner you realize that, the better off you'll be.

What tantrum?  Since you're so keen on quotes- show that one.

Missed this one? Note other people in this thread don't like the car - also note I'm singled out. And please don't make me go through years of threads to show how triggered this guy got at my very existence he had to pretend that he was ignoring me.

Maybe you should look towards upgrading that prescription, yeah?

That's not a tantrum. There isn't even an insult directed at you there. Its an observable fact, that illicited a childish, tantrum like response from you.

You've been singled out because you acted like a spoiled manchild off his meds, not because you voiced an opinion. See how everyone else around is able to say what they think without making threats?

Again, 3 sentences, light ribbing- where is the tantrum?

And yes other people don't like this car. But you are the only person here who seems to hate every car you comment on. Here is all of your recent commentary from this year:

"Yawn.

And that interior looks terrible. Something about it reminds me of the Dodge Dart, and it screams "Rental""

"looks like a bulbous cancerous pos. Not a fan of that design."

"Lol, what an epic peice of shit.

Surprising that people who I thought had good taste (Rotor) like it."

"Trash."

Which is why I keep asking... are there any cars you like besides your E92, and if not why bother discussing cars at all? Apparently asking that + throwing some pretty harmless (especially for me) jokes = tantrum, but you clearly threatening- sorry.... "offering".... to meet up with me and beat me up in front of my family is perfectly rational and level headed :wtf:

I have been listening to Chic's "C'est Chic" album a bit this weekend and at the end of (Funny) Bone someone says "the whole world's a circus- don't be the clown". Probably some advice worth listening to, (emotionally) Char(red).

It's never been. You've been insufferable since day one, going as far to pretend to ignore me (at the urging of your peers) because you got so hot and bothered over me. I can take a shit on you and everyone here and not think twice about it, and typically (thankfully) most of the conversations don't decend into pissing matches.

Okay, fine, you said you'd be in his area. Doesn't really help your case.

No, I said I would be in NC to go to BPC, and I told him I would say it to his face then. The implication in your statement infers that I'm specifically going to NC to hunt him down and verbally assault him. You know the difference, and we both know that's not true.

With that said, I'd be interested in watching this showdown if it materialized

Although I'm almost certain this will be two guys just calling each other names daring the other person to hit first and it'll just end up being a piss-fest instead of an actual fight  :(

So you're makin' a side trip. To verbally assault him. Then just happened to feel like mentioning "everybody's a tough guy until they get punched in the mouth." That was just a random quip. And "don't be the guy that gets his ass beat in front of his family" was just general, non-specific advice. None of these things were threats at all, just everyday conversation that was misunderstood. I mean, doesn't everyone give out such useful advice from time to time?

No, this is embarrassing. You guys jump on a "got ya" moment, only to show how far your willing to reach to imply something that I actually never said. I'm not shy about my feelings, I'm very direct - no need for me to dance around this bush. But I won't let anyone put words in my mouth.

I'm making a trip to NC to do X - This shows I'm not there for him, I'm not driving 600 miles to tell a guy to go fuck himself.
Everyone is a tough guy until they get punched in the mouth - a statement I attributed to Mike Tyson, and then I NEVER stated that I would assault him in any way.
He then proceeds to keep talking trash, as if he's a hardass from behind his computer monitor.

don't be the guy that gets his ass beat in front of his family - General statement, again nothing in this statement alludes to ME saying I would beat his ass.

Not to mention 3 posts later I chastised him for actually trying to pick a fight with me over the internet. Make no mistake, I'll call him a bitch to his face, and I would say it to you - because you won't do a damn thing about it.

Those general statements taken together are pretty specific.

I wouldn't exactly call it "threats" per say but it's clearly internet/keyboard tough guy talk and the implications were pretty clear (ie that you would drive down and say it to it's face, and that may result in his getting punched in the face and beat up in front of his family). That you had other reasons to be in the area is irrelevant.

Don't worry though, nobody actually took you seriously.  You lost control and said something stupid that makes you appear stupid, angry, and not in control of your emotions. Own it and move on.

Kinda sounds like you're backing off now. Did you look up Sporty on Facebook and get scared?

Never seen him, and wouldn't be afraid of him.

Wow, way to prove you're not a pathetic internet tough guy who makes threats- by threatening and taunting yet another person.

Is there an equivalent to the Dunning-Kruger effect in social skills?

I feel like now is the appropriate time to mention that my VW Golf:

1. Has a better engine than Char's 3-series
2. Handles better than Char's 3-series
3. Has a more practical interior than Char's 3-series
4. Is less expensive to own and operate than Char's 3-series
5. And most importantly looks way, way better than Char's 3-series.

Also I think it is worth noting that my dad can beat up his dad.

It's also VW - so minus 15 points.
