You also should live in an area near a college.  When I lived in the city for three years I got no tickets.  Two months back home in the suburbs I had 2 and ended up putting one on.

I live 1/2 mile from OSU.

The GS doesn't have a place for a front plate. Hopefully the police will understand me not wanting to drill holes in the front of my car......

I don't think I ever see Corvettes pulled over. They know it's an old fart driving so they don't bother.

Where's that Android Auto integration that Jacob promised? I'm pretty lukewarm about Mazda's nav. It's really hard to find places by their names. Google does it so well.

Did Teuton BTAC us again?

Voice command:

"Navigate to address"

and,

You MUST give the street number in single integers.

I.e., it's "One five zero first st," not "one fifty" and not "one hundred fifty."

If you remember to do that everytime, it does pretty well.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

I could mumble an address like Boomhauer and Google would still get me.

Oh yeah it sucks hard, I just want you to not have to go through the same 200 miles yelling "IT'S HAY FUCKING STREET MOTHERFUCKER!" like I did.

I'm still smitten with the looks of mine.

Power-wise, it feels like it needs more when you're just putting around town, but when you're taking on the twisty roads and realizing just how much inertia it can safely carry around corners.. it's great!

Saw a red ND ragtop and red 911 parked close to each other at the supermarket on-base Saturday. Sure the Porsche would be sweet but there's rarely a chance to tap the power, and the ND will be much more driveable long-term.

AND the darker red of the ND was sexier than the pale-ish red on Yurrup car...

I would take a 911 Targa over the RF. I love how massive that rear windshield is.

How's your transmission doing?  Have you been reading about the exploding transmissions yet?  Sounds like it's mostly 2016 model year, but there's a TSB for it.  News broke that Kobe in Japan had been lying about material certifications for a long time.  People are wondering if the two are connected.  Would be interesting if that was really the root cause.  The damage is really weird.  Teeth are just sheering off.  Almost looks like they're not getting proper engagement, causing additional stress on the teeth.

I have like 15 miles on my odo; no chance for damage to settle in. Still shifts smoothly.

I forgot, you have the RF, so you're supposed to be outside the affected build dates.  There are still some failures with build dates in your range but it's much more rare.

Transmission is, at least.

The Spider uses the NC's unit right?  I wonder why the split.

Mazda doesn't show up very high on the list of Kobe customers. Not that that's definitive.

The ND transmission is smaller and lighter, the NC transmission can evidently more easily handle the higher torque and hp of the Fiat.

I'm at 17K, keeping my fingers crossed but it seemed like most of the defective ones were asploding w/i the first 5k or so. Also I'm wondering how much can be attributed to operator error—either in pushing aftermarket power, or kicking it out of gear on accident. It's an incredibly taut and light box, would be very easy to dislodge the stick if you have the bad habit of resting your hand on it.
