30K > 15-22K. I wasn't saying in total.....

For all the hate Lincoln gets, the MKZ outsells all of each of Cadillac's current sedans by like 2:1, and has been doing so for years.

And FWIW, the last CTS outsold the ATS+CTS 2016 sales.... in 2009

Why is it so painful to admit the Alpha platform is a sales flop? It's a great platform that doesn't deliver what buyers want  Even Mr. H fell back on this.

Because it's going to soldier on for 10 years. You repetedly saying "its a flop" doesn't do anything. You assert that GM should just abandon RWD platforms altogether.

Also, GM sells 100K units Cadillac cars in China. About 45K of them being the Alpha/Omega based cars.

I thought we were comparing XTS and Continental? Continental is like 12k/year. XTS wins.

Also that.

The XTS could be better, yes.

Also, I've not really liked Cadillac's new modern aesthetic interiors. They're spartan.

I really like how Lincoln is channeling the late 1970's and 1980's in their interiors - not a decade people look to. But here, it works.

What do you mean? The question you should be asking is how cars like the ATS or companies like Cadillac/Jaguar aren't dead yet. Those make way less sense than Lincolns.

:nutty:

Why would I come into a thread about the Navigator and ask why Jaguar is still in business?

It's impossible to argue with Raza. He wins. Period. End of discussion.

Cadillac sold over 300,000 vehicles last year compared to approximately 100,000 by Lincoln.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Jaguar Land Rover had its best worldwide sales year last year as well.  But you know the old saying: Shutter your factory doors and fold your operation while you're ahead.

I mean, the Continental is basically what I have been suggesting Cadillac have in its lineup for the past 4-5 years. Take the bread and butter big FWD platform, give it the best interior/exterior design, interior space and build quality $40-60K can buy, give it an exclusive powertrain, profit. It's been working for the ES, MKZ and now Continental  for years. For all the hate Lincoln gets, the MKZ outsells all of each of Cadillac's current sedans by like 2:1, and has been doing so for years. People dont give a shit about what the ATS is good at, for the most part. They want comfort, space, design and prestige

I get what you're saying, but the MKZ has a pretty dumpy interior.
