Feast your eyes on this weird car, Spinners! Saw this thing in traffic the other day. I love American cars from this era, but this is just too wacky even for my special tastes. I suppose this is evidence of how what can happen when you have designers who love drugs!

Interestingly enough, during my Google research to identify this car I learned that Stutz also built two extended versions of these.

The Stutz Diplomatica...

...and the Stutz Royale Limousine...

Stutz was one of a handful of neo-classic coachbuilder that popped up into the 70s and 80s that specialized in tacking pre-WW2 era luxury car styling elements onto existing production vehicles.  Zimmer was much the same (and were still being built into the 2000s).  I'd put Excalibur in this bunch as well.

Yep, and that Neo-Classic segment was just bizarre. But then back then it was a different time. I think I recall some of these being seen in the background of the hit '80s TV show Miami Vice. Guess they were popular with drug dealers!

Don't confuse neo-classic Stutz with the real Stutz though.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

These "designers" must have moved on to Rolls Royce.

Truth be told I find none of the current Rolls Royces to be beautiful - except for the Ghost, which looks halfway decent.
