Damn the MQB platform is flexible, they literally turned a Golf into a pickup. 

It is a mid-sized truck.





I see they did the huge name thing that seems to be the rage with the pickup crowd.

Not really in any great numbers. You do have some people who grey import a US pickups. The Ram seems to get 90% of that market for some reason.

Just a concept I presume? I would be stunned if VW actually built something like this.
