How did it go?

Lancia Thema i.e.. Have not seen one of these in years. The 8.32 version featured a transversely-mounted Ferrari V6! Needs a new timing belt every 20,000 km! How's that for HIGH MAINTENANCE?

It didn't. It was back in the early '60s and it was so 'foreign' to me when I sat behind the wheel that I didn't even try to drive it.

I've heard that Citroen SMs are very tricky to drive at first because the steering system is so unique as is the brake pedal feel. When I rode in an SM years ago the driver allowed me to steer the car from the passenger seat, and it's definitely a weird sensation. Very direct, but also dependent on the speed of the car.

It looks like a post-1971 (facelift) car, and judging from the license plate it could be a 1973 model. As for the exact model, hard to tell, but I'm guessing it's a 3.0 CSi. The 3.0 CSL would have black side stripes IIRC.
