I drive a dodge stratus!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2uUDkMYtrQ#)
Stratus. Still looks great, IMO.
I think I have to agree with Patrick Bedard and go with an Eagle Vision TSi.

It never looked great.
I would take the Taurus. My wife had one as a company car for 2 years and aside from being ugly and boring as sin it was extremely reliable, comfortable, and had the biggest trunk I have ever seen outside of a Town Car.

I agree. It was a pretty striking car in it's day.
Vision, for sure.
Why is the Vision on herr, but not the Intrepid?
It's the same car, Francis.
Coincidently, I passed an Eagle Vision TSi 3.5 on the highway this morning. First one I've seen in quite some time.
For a mid-'90s Detroit barge, it didn't look half bad. In fact, I think it's the best Detroit barge of it's era.
Buick Regal. Just so I can tell a girl here I drive a "Regal" and get slapped in the face when I do. :praise:
I would have picked the first gen Oldsmobile Aurora if it had been included, but the price point probably kept it out of this poll.

There are certain words we tend to avoid here on da spin...
Regal, for sure. The Supercharged variant, if possible. They were really pretty decent cars, IMO. Not much goes wrong with them, either, so long as you're ok with replacing the intake manifold gaskets as soon as you buy it, and possibly replace a window regulator or four.
Where are the pictures? :rage:
Regal. It mite rust in half but the driveline was bullet proof!
I voted Sable. Across the board headlights, bitches!

I haven't seen a Sable like that for years, but near the end of their natural lives, it was rare to see one without at least one burned out light in that bar.

True. But you could actually get a blue or a green interior back then. Now, it's just grey, tan or black.
It would be a neat ricer hack to tie the intensity of that light to the engine's RPMs. Now you can SEE the Vulcan's power!

A few of the old clunker Sables I've seen around (and there aren't many anymore) already have that feature built in. Philistines who can't appreciate it for what it is say things like "malfunctioning charging system" about it.
(The same is true of old Grand Prixs and Mercury Topazes.)

Heh, I think my Camry did that too, before its alternator died.

If I were a boring person looking for a boring car, I'd get the Sable because it's less conspicuous than the Taurus. The last thing I'd want is my boring wife to get all hot and bothered by the car I roll up in.
Bench seat and column shift booyah.
Which generation Lumina are we talking about? The late 80s-early 90s 1st gen or the mid-90s 2nd gen?

With that glitzy illuminated grille, the Sable is anything but less conspicuous than a Taurus. Mercuries were traditionally positioned to be slightly more upscale than Fords.
