Pick up a long straw for the cans.  You can pick up packs of 3 foot long straws on Amazon.  Makes it much easier to get to hard to reach places or inside the frame.  Is yours open or boxed?

Unibody.

Let me check into those 3-foot straws. Those could come in handy at work.

That looks good. The engine bay is surprisingly clean for an old Cherokee.

Now, should I weld the rear differential, or see how it goes when the snow comes?

Once again, would that not put undo stress on the running gear, in particular, the crown and pinion?

Most of the undue stress would be on the tires.

Certainly on the tires as well.  Can you fit a Detroit Locker?

There are a couple of lockers available, but I don't like them.

If I'm bored, I might just run manual hydraulic brake actuators to each rear brake. Manual traction control.

Do the old VW thing of running separate parking brake cables to each wheel.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Many angry cats.

I've seen it done only once on an old torpedo back Chevy.  It was pretty impressive, sort of like a jet.  Don't think it helped performance though.

This is crazy talk. Do you understand that the intake and exhaust manifolds are on the same side of the cylinder head? It is an ancient engine design.

I picked up a nice chunk of 1/4" hot rolled steel plate to throw in my diff. Also got a mini needle scaler to stress relieve the welds before they cool. Welds gonna be strong.
