MINI turn signal fail

Mini, so very in love with its kitch "Britishness", decided to redo its turn signals with a Union Jack motif. Each taillight displays half of the Union Jack flag. Think about it for a second. It's kind of a bad idea...

I love Mini's response to it. "Naw, we never heard or foresaw that as a problem at all". I showed it to my girlfriend and she was totally confused. "Why are they pointing the wrong way?"

I love them and the kits to put similar ones on the earlier cars. I'm looking at getting the ones in this link, and the turn signals sweep outward can can't be confused with anything else (watch the video):
