Probably as much a deathtrap as other pseudo-motorcycles like the Slingshot.

It's worth watching, there are interesting things which can happen when the car is that efficient. The solar panels can give it 7 miles of range per hour! You might never have to actually charge the damn thing! And 1000 miles of range... wow.
