A crossover MPV type deal for China. Since it's a Baojun, it uses GM running gear. Power comes from a 1.5T (maybe the same one from the malibu?) mated to a 6MT or a CVT auto.
I think it's wild to look at, and very much what kids are designing and drawing in school these days. I think it's interesting to look at, but not "pretty".
Baojun is GM's brand that is also split betweenness Wuling and SAIC. They've been targeting lower-tier cities with cheaper, stylish crossovers and sedans. I think a lot of their cars use an older Daewoo 1.5L from the old Aveo. Baojun accounts for ~25% of sales for GM China.

Gran Scenic is still the king
The design to me is very inoffensive and almost Citroënish in nature. It's wacky, a little futuristic and also somewhat bland at the same time.
I think what really bothers me the most are the small wheels. This thing needs at least 18" wheels!!!

Good idea. It needs whitewalls!
Yes, those wheels/tires do look oddly small. But it also doesn't look like they left a whole lot of room for anything much larger.
Bigger wheels and better details make a big difference
This is a minivan I would buy
Baojun is a budget brand. These little wheels and tires are likely designed to be cheap and easy to replace for buyers on a budget.
Pricing isn't released, but their cheapest SUV the 510 is like $8500 USD brand new
^^^Hyundai Kona with a Acura face...^^^
For $8500, it's not bad.

Holy shit, my watch is more than that. How did they make an entire car for $8500?

It's built using older technology and old parts. The engine and transmission in that car is from the old Chevy Aveo.
The chassis likely isn't very strong, and although the design is impressive, it's not probably anything very nice to drive or be inside of. Probably doesn't crash the greatest, either. This is all relative; a Honda HR-V is about the same size, but would be around 2x the price; for good reason.

Do you want to go in 50/50? I'll buy this truck and drive it up to CT. I can get DOT and MC numbers, and a tanker endorsement on my CDL in a week.
