Don't see Vipers every day. Especially convertible! $45k in Georgia.

And man, looking through the ads there, so many more trucks than up here near DC!!!!!

Some dude in town here has a first gen Viper. He does laps around town all day. Must be really fun to drive at 25mph, I guess. I want to like it, as I am a big fan of Vipers, but it's red with yellow wheels. Looks dumb IMO.

Does he own the McDonald's too?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Apparently that Ketchup and mustard color scheme was a factory option.

I agree it looks dumb except for maybe Guy Fieri driving one.

That's a little tough to look at.  Must sound like shit too.

A lot of owners put a crossover pipe in between the two sides ofnthe exhaust, and they sound a lot better.

Hard to do with the side pipes. So you either have to look cool or sound cool?

They aren't really side pipes... more like side exits. The mod is common and relatively easy.

Needs a bit of work.

A '49 would better.

The work is irrelevant. I want to build a badass hot rod, not restore originality.

Those old torpedo/turtle-backs make excellent rods.  What would you use for engine, drive train?

It has a straight eight. That's all it needs.

Kinda hard to tell if it runs.  Be nice if it did.

It just needs fuel injection and a few turbochargers.

Buick of the same era had a OHV straight eight.  A friend had a '51.  The thing was a tank.  He didn't have a license so I did all the driving.  It had a Dynaflow transmission.  Good thing gas was 33 cents a gallon.

Oh yeah, the Buick had the better Straight Eight, but I'll take either one
