So I'm riding my bicycle around in South Bay. There's a few guys with old Chevy trucks in the J street marina parking lot. Informal, friendly. Nice, some family guys. Mostly Hispanics and Black guys. After a while, two local cops show up and hang out. There were a few guys who, by the tattoos, were gang bangers. One of them had a 65 Chevy C10. I told him about the history of the trucks. His was slammed, down low, rusty, with pinstriping, etc., a cool vehicle, ghetto style. Nice guy.
Anyway, I found myself wanting to go ask the cops WTF? These guys weren't any kind of a threat.
I was the only white guy there. I'd had a few beers or I'd have gone and asked the cops WTF? Aren't there any bad guys to get today?
