Title: Geely works with the British Cab (TX4), to create the "British Splendor"
Post by: 2o6 on November 26, 2008, 03:30:38 PM
They're planning to update it. I like it, even If it's a bit too rolls-royce. This is also planning to be sold as a super-posh, but relatively cheap alternative to MB and BMW. The name will be YinLun Di Hua, which translates to "British Splendor".

I like how they've intergrated the modern headlights into the traditional shape of the car.  The side profile seems to look okay and the wheels were obviously cribbed from the Rolls Royce Phantom.  Too bad the rear looks like it has a case of elephantitis.  Will this actually be the replacement for LTI's current taxi or it this exclusivly for the Chinese market?

Cheers,

It looks like just a civilian version of a commercial vehicle, not a bad idea.

If I'm right, it'll be a sister model. This version will be better equipped and more luxuriant inside.
