That sounds like a pretty large order. 500 vehicles.

Makes sense from a political perspective to order the cars built in that city.

Sounds like a big order for what is essentially a totally untested vehicle for police use. First year police vehicles tend to have teething problems but I suspect that this was as much a political decision as a LE one.

Wow! That is a very high number but look at the deal between New York City Transit Authority and Nissan Corporation replacing what is said to be the total fleet of NYC taxi cabs to a relatively unknown Nissan passenger van. Not the police, but just as compelling.
