Title: <$30k fun car
Post by: MrH on October 24, 2013, 08:40:30 AM
Upwards of $30k to spend on a fun car.  Second vehicle, no need for practicality.

What do you get and why?  GO!

2005+ S2000.

I've had a Boxster, I have a Z4 now, I'd really like to hit the trifecta.

If it's truly no consideration other than purchase price (reliability, maintenance costs, etc are not a concern), probably an Elise or Boxster.  If I have to cover upkeep, I'm thinking C6 Corvette, maybe an S2000.

2006 Porsche Cayman S
Z4M Coupe

One of these will be my next car. Unless kids get in the way. Then I don't know. Maybe a 335i sedan.

I was going to put cayman on my list but I don't think you can get an S for under 30K.

Yeah, I don't think I'd run over kids in those two either. You need something with metal bumpers and more ground clearance.
