Title: The straight-six is back.

This caught my attention when I read the August C&D review of the 2019 CLS450. Mercedes-Benz going back to its heritage. Inherent smoothness, undersquare, a hot side, a cold side, neatly-packaged, so much goodness.
The inline-six is the best engine configuration IMO
Roll on the 2019 E-Class.

New Supra too!  It has a BMW straight-six, but I'll take it.

Seen a few around, all diesels (like the one below). Only seen a handful of CLS450s.
