Sadly it's not a Diesel and it's not brown. But it's manual!  :tounge:

Can This Euro-Spec 1992 BMW 316i Touring Become Your E30 Darling?

A 1992 BMW 316i Touring is up for auction in Lakeland, Florida and while it is no E30 M3, it is still pretty desirable as the estate model was never sold in North America.

Touring variants of the E30 3-Series are much less common than the sedan models which were produced and this particular example was shipped to the United States from Germany under the 25 year old import rule. It is being sold at no reserve with factory manuals, German service records, a tool kit, importation documents, and a clean Florida title in the seller's name.

Adorning the exterior of the car is a gorgeous shade of Laguna Green Pearl Metallic. The car is also sitting on the factory 14-inch bottlecap alloy wheels wrapped in 175/70 Kumho Solus KH15 tires. Also featured are the European headlights, a rear fog light, sunroof, and four-piston brake calipers at all four corners.

A look at the cabin indicates the car has been well cared for. The original grey cloth seats and black vinyl door panels appear to be in superb condition. The Bring A Trailer listing adds that the headliner has also been recently replaced. A look at the odometer confirms the car has a touch over 105,000 km (~65,000 miles) on the clock.

Powering the 316i Touring is a 105hp 1.6-liter inline-four engine that sends its power to the rear wheels courtesy of a five-speed manual transmission. The engine had an oil change in November 2019 while also getting a new distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs, and fuel filter.

Sadly, it has a giant analog clock instead of a tachometer.

Sadly, it has a giant analog clock instead of a tachometer.

So you can time 0-60, 1/4 mile, lap times, and rally stages.

Must be pretty slow, there's no "second" hand.
