Do you often straddle the center console?
I would if I had a Blazer. Who needs ventilated seats?

Depends on the shift knob.

Nice big armrest to sit on. Although it's way higher than the "saddle horn". You'd have to bend over pretty far, like a race-replica bike.

No, you sit directly behind the saddle horn. The spin knob might be a bit uncomfortable. The armrest is only used when you are riding 2-up.

You might have a little trouble steering from that position.

Pooprods? It's about time. I wonder how much copy/paste they did from LS blueprints.

They still have blueprints from the FE series.  Far better to copy them.  All they need now is a SOC version.

The current 6.2L OHC engine can be stroked to over 7L

I would suspect that the 7.3 is a replacement?  Cheaper to build.

Nope the 6.2L will continue in the F series trucks from what I understand, but the 7.3 was developed for the E series and medium duty trucks as the 6.2 doesn't fit in the E series chassis.  I believe the 7.3L will also go into the F series trucks but as a mid-level option.

Oh, I thought the E series was being phased out and replaced by Transit.

Sorry I meant the cutaway model like for c class motorhomes, delivery truck chassis etc.  Those were planned to be phased out, hence the 6.2 wasn't designed to fit, but customer backlash convinced them to continue production, which left Ford to either redesign the chassis or make an engine that fits.

Another option for the Super Duty series as well I would guess.

Yep, and I assume it'll sell really well to fleets who are tired of paying $10k + all the CEL and weeks in the dealer getting their diesel trucks fixed.

Making progress. Hit 240 km/h on the Autobahn today.

There's so much traffic on a frigging Friday morning/noon you can't even cruise at 130 km/h for longer distances and intervals. And most of it is due to idiots driving in the central lane on a three-lane highway. People need to go back to driving school and learn that essentially a three-lane Autobahn is still a single-lane Autobahn. Drive on the right lane at all times except when overtaking!
