Are you going to use wood for the floor, or metal?

Wood. Metal would be too heavy and expensive. It only has a 2000# axle!

Probably 2x6 boards for the floor, and 5/8 plywood for the front and sides. Then I need to figure out a tailgate.

I'm back to wanting a minivan. Probably a 2007 or older Chrysler. The problems are well known. Parts are cheap. Easy to work on. 25 mpg. Rides nice. Dog room. Sleep room.

Jeep's rear axle shaft bearings are toast. Not difficult or expensive, but when will I get a chance to do it and finish it all in one day?
I need a second vehicle.

Stimulation check should arrive by next week. VAN shopping begins.

Geo Storm?

I can't even tell you the last time I saw one of those.

The Dodge Caravan idea wasn't bad if you want to haul stuff. We had a 2001 Grand Caravan that we bought in 2002 and we ran it for 17 years until someone ran into it. It wasn't perfect but the only major issue that we had with it was replacing the air conditioning. It had 165,00 miles when it went away and I only changed the timing belt once. It leaked a little oil most of its life and we had to replace the transmission solenoid around 150,000 miles because it was leaking.

And here I thought you were going to brag how you got it from Wonder Woman.

I just can't pass up a Geo Storm. Stand by.

16v? The sporty Geo? Is it teal? Or metallic fuchsia?

Storms were a semi-popular ride among the meth-mouth set, back when I worked at the farm store.. along with the Ford Aspire, first gen Kia Sephias, Chevy Corsicas, and early 80's Foxbody 'stangs. A weird alternate universe of cars

Nah, it is not teal, and it's not a 16v DOHC GSi.
It's still a little race car, though.

The base Storm is basically a FWD, hard top NA Miata. Same weight, same power, same tire size.

Since it gets a billion MPG, I imagine the gearing situation is quite different.

Honestly, if someone were to build a museum and have an exhibit to show one car that typified every year, they should burn the place down if there isn't a Geo Storm in Teal or Fuschia with Taz mudflaps representing 1991.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

1975 Honda CB750, 1986 Rebel Rascal (sailing dinghy), 2015 Mini Cooper, 2020 Winnebago 31H (E450), 2021 Toyota 4Runner, 2022 Lincoln Aviator

Bonus: the front brake pads are the same as an NA Miata.

I don't even know if it is manual or automatic. I'm going to buy it, anyway.

Somehow we need to fit the SNES into that picture. Game console release dates are the epoch markers of my childhood. ;)

I don't know anything about SNES release dates. I had a Turbo Grafix 16.

1989 was the start of your 16-bit epoch. Console bitness are like cycles on the Mayan Long Count calendar.

I don't even know how many bits my XBox One has. They don't advertise console bits anymore :(
