Saw this in person already. It's nothing special because it's based on a soon-to-be-updated/replaced platform. Plus, for a supposed futuristic car it still has an analog tachometer! Whoa, so last century!  :tounge:

2020 Mercedes-Benz EQV Electric MPV Unveiled With 405 Km Range

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class has gone electric, albeit with a new name – EQV, and a visual makeover.

Previewed by the Concept EQV during the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the production-ready vehicle is powered by a 150 kW (204 PS / 201 hp) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) electric motor with energy recuperation technology, mounted on the front axle. In a straight line, the all-electric MPV can reach speeds of up to 160 km/h (99 mph), according to Mercedes.

With a 90 kWh capacity, the lithium-ion battery is installed in the space beneath the floor, so that it doesn't affect the handling or interior space, and provides a claimed range of 405 km (252 miles). It features 11 kW and 110 kW charging, with the latter taking 45 minutes from 10 to 80 percent.

Visually, the new EQV looks almost identical to the show car presented earlier this year, featuring sweptback headlights flanking the large grille with horizontal slats. The front and rear bumpers have been reworked though, and the 18-inch wheels are less colorful.

The interior has been made more practical, with the automaker reshaping the space under the center console and moving the front armrests further back. The MBUX infotainment system with a 10-inch display provides access to different functions and supports voice control. Users will be able to plan their destinations from outside the vehicle, and set a departure time as the cabin will be either heated or cooled to the desired temperature.

Customers will have to choose between two different lengths of the EQV: 5,140 mm (202.4 in) and 5,370 mm (211.4 in), with a 3,200 mm (126 in) or 3,430 mm (135 in) wheelbase, respectively. Moreover, the interior is customizable and supports the installation of individual or bench rear seats, with space for up to 9 occupants.

The EQV will be assembled in Vitoria, Spain, alongside the Vito and V-Class, and you'll be able to see it in person at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
