Title: My Old Man's collection
Post by: Soup DeVille on August 20, 2023, 10:33:16 AM
Anybody in the market for something green?

This is a portion of my dad's collection, which is far too much for me to keep. Unsure of what will happen though...

That is pretty cool, but also seems like it would be a lot of work to maintain them.

it was a lot of work, sometimes just to keep air in the tires and the batteries charged. Plus there are very limited parts for the rarer ones. The little "Jeep" out front is an M422 Mighty Mite- its an all aluminum lighter Jeep designed to be airlifted. Only 1200 were ever made, and the last one was in 1962. Nobody makes parts for them.

Whoa, man. What are you going to do, sell them all? It really is a job in itself to keep that many old machines running.

I'll take a deuce, but I want it bobbed to a single axle.
