I want to get a late 70s naked Goldwing and strip some weight off it. Not full cafe racer or anything, but a nice naked 6 cyl would be dope.

The Gold Wing was a flat-4 until the late 80s.  The original Gold Wings in the 70s didn't have the fairing or the bags.  They didn't go full dresser until the second generation in the 80s, and even then it was optional.  You could still get the naked version until I think the 3rd generation, or maybe the later years of the 2nd gen.

Good thing they are $$$$$ and probably are a pain in the dick to lane split with.

I think I'd like to add one of those to my stable of bikes if I'm ever rich (which I never will be if I keep going through bikes like water).

The swingarm looks like a home-made piece where somebody took a cheap, box-section swingarm from an entry-level bike and welded a bunch of bracing to it.

All liter bikes of that era look like that.

FWIW I think it looks a lot better than the '04 CBR1000RR.

I just wish the swingarm was black to match the black frame but otherwise it's one of my favorite bits of the bike.

No. I don't mind the exhaust, although I'm going to be changing it once I get the clutch and turn signals sorted.

My roommate wants me to put a bottom exit shorty can on it.

Add lightness!

The only problem with short exhaust is that the frame gets dirtier. Although I'm not sure if that's as much as an issue on an FI bike with cats.

Also why is it that your 954 is the only one I've ever seen without the RR logo on them? Even google doesn't show any 954's without the RR sticker on the fairings
