Next:
Saab 9000
Fiat Croma
Lancia Thema

They were all built on the same Type Four Platform. Where's the Alfa Romeo 164? It should also be there!

Yes you're right but I was thinking of the Italdesign/Giugiaro body... basically the same body. The Alfa 164 had a different body. My Dad had a fully-optioned Saab 9000 which he dearly loved.
Lancia put a Ferrari V8 engine in the Thema 8:32. That was an interesting car - rare as hens teeth.

And it needed a new timing chain every 20,000 km. Now that's annoying maintenance.  :tounge:

Harris Mann.
He worked at Ford UK and was involved in the design of the Escort (& the Capri.)
At the dreaded British Leyland the TR7 was all his.

Ah! My first thought was that the TR7 probably used the Ford Escort rear lights or something...

They each had V4 engines.
Yup. When I was a kid one of my uncles had a Saab 96 - with the Cologne version of the Ford V4. Another uncle, his brother had a Lancia Fulvia Coupe with its narrow-angle V4. That engine was a gem. The Ford engine, not so much.
