2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Toned down from the wild Concept S show car that was seen earlier this year at Geneva, the Gallardo Spyder makes use of a powered top that stows under the engine cover and behind the passenger compartment. In case you invert the car, there is a pop-up roll bar and strengthened A-pillars. While the car was in the body shop, the Lamborghini engineers increased the 5.0-liter V-10's power from 492 to 512 hp. (All 2006 Gallardos receive the power hike.) The six-speed transmission has been recalibrated, along with the suspension and steering. Lamborghini says that the car will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 195 mph with the roof up. Topless, the car is 4 mph slower. The Gallardo Spyder goes on sale in Europe early next year, priced at about $200,000.

Don't care for it, but then I have never cared for Lamborghinis,
I think it looks pretty cool! The louvers over the motor are a nice touch.
I like the Gallardo. It has the dramatic futuristic styling of the Murcielago, but it looks much tighter.
Looks good with the top down, but only in the white. And with the top up...fughetaboutit!
Since when has ANY European exotic looked good with the top up?!

Well...Lambo's have never really looked good, period.

Aston Martin seems to no longer make the most beautiful car.
I like it but not near as much as the F430 Spyder.

I'm going to have to disagree....

You are kidding, right? The Miura is one deadly gorgeous car.
Sorry...I guess I should have said "all the Lambo's in my generation haven't looked good, period".

You guys have no taste.
I love the Diablo, I'm not as big a fun of the Countach.
The Espada, particularly in the side profile, bears a resembelance to a Ford GT.
the countach is ugly.
ugly ugly ugly.
those louvres are ugly too. they shoulla kept it smooth.

drop dead gorgeus. :praise:
The louvers make it interesting. Without them, it would be boring.
Do you guys realize that the Countach was offered without the crap on it?

RWD, no F1 trans, no ESP...just pure power.
I love the black A-pillars, I think it was made black so the top would blend in a little more therefore looking less ugly. I, however, like the Gallardo in hard or soft-top form. THe Murcielago is a different story. Har-top is one of the best looking and the soft-top couldve been better.
