But of course - Ecoboost has not gone well WRT mpg. I imagine employees who knew about it want to get out in front of so they don't go down with those poor bastards at VWAG who got the blame.

Not that there's a whole lot of info in that article, but this sounds like an internal matter, not anything related to the EPA.
