Love for Ol’ Blue.

Went out on Sunday to go to Home Depot to buy some yard stuff. Blue wouldn't start. Looked like a bad battery, but couldn't test it at home.
I had a AAA battery at work hat was a requested replacement. It tested good, so I kept it. Charged it today at work and brought it home in the Miata.
I was unusually happy when Blue started right up.
That big 37 amp alternator is still doing its job after 56 years.

I have this fantasy? Of touring the country in Blue in retirement. Probably never happen.
Need to rebuild the trans and get new tires. Otherwise, good to go.
