Man, that's a hard one. But if you can find a nice MR-2 that's not been molested by some kid then it would be a great car to get.
The polls says 928, but you posted a 914.
EPIC FAIL!
No bikes for me. The cars both rock. If it were me, I'd get a 2.5RS or a WRX, but it'd be hard to resist that Miata.

As for me, I'm stuck between the 914 and MX-5.
Miata....I want to enjoy the car year round in my climate, can't do that with a motorcycle or older Porsche.

How is a Honda bike from 1982 worth $7k?

But really, in this particular selection, I'd go with the 914. Only one of the listed vehicles NOT depreciating.

Suzuki cruisers are painfully uncool.
Miata will force you to turn in your badass card.
CBX is unspeakably badass. Crazy-awesome. A six-cylinder 105hp naked superbike from a quarter-century ago, running an 11-second quarter mile and scaring the Holy Jesus WTF was THAT out of all the nice people who rode Honda cubs. Too bad it will kill you and rape your corpse and eat your cat if you attempt to ride it. Honestly, it's probably the most dangerous motorcycle I've ever heard of. You would have to call it the Murdercycle just out of respect. While it would bring great joy to your unnaturally and painfully shortened life, out of selfish reasons to keep you around to entertain me I have to vote against it.
Porsche 914 combines the emasculation of a Miata with the douchbaggery that comes standard with every Porsche. Pass.
Toyota MR2 Turbo has a badass rating of 72% but has no desire to kill you and will run on nothing but willpower for many years. So I voted for that.

I rode a friend's 2004-ish 883 quite a few miles, and while it was fun to scare people and cows with the loud noises, it did handle worse than my 1977 Suzuki GS.
I like a good V-twin cruiser, but I also like to take corners. I can't think of a bike in my price range - or at any price, that combines the two.

I think mainly looks. I really don't know, an SV650 would probably do the trick just as well.
I think the Gladius is the SV's replacement. Suzuki calls it the SFV650. Looks like it's essentially the same motor, but the chassis is totally different. This looks like a steel-aluminum hybrid frame whereas the SV is all aluminum. Heavier than the SV too.

Huh. I wonder why they would go heavier, unless there is some advantage in strength or something by going with the steel trellis frame.
