You have off-roadability with a 0-60 time of 7 seconds flat (some a little less) and an engine from a then-top-of-the-line Dodge Ram (sans V10) or a firebreathing ~4.5 sec. GC that is good for only the street and really possesses no Jeep abilities. Which do you pick?

Rag, you have no shame.
At least it's related this time.
And the new SRT Jeep thingy can't do 0-60 in 4.5 sec.

Then that narrows the gap a little bit.
I voted 5.9 Limited. I think the oldies a more useful while smaller on the inside, they make for more competent rides.
Aye. They do suck less.
I like the old one. But I'd take the smaller engined version, 5.9 is overkill.
I have no use for either, but I imagine that the new one is better on the pavement so its my choice.
5.9 Limited all the way. When they first came out (1998 or so?), I wanted one badly.
SRT-8.
I'll take the 5.9 Limited, but this is stretching "Then" vs. "Now." This is sorta like "Now" vs. "A few minutes ago"
Srt-8
5.9L Limited

It was 2 generations ago, so it's fair game.
Are you serious?
The 5.9 looks absolutely badass, the new one is an utter abomination of the Jeep as we know it. And Rag, it don't want to know how much duct tape was required just to keep the car together for that photo .
The SRT-8 doesn't do what a Jeep should. GO OFF-ROAD AND BE GREAT AT IT!
5.9 Limited for me. infinitely better looking
I usually vote ol' skewl, but if you're just talking a grocery getter with no room for the bags except the backseat, you might as well have the warranty of the new one...related but off topic, the 5 series wagon has more room than the X5, I'm guessing the same is true for this v. the 300M!
Old one, I grew up in those. :praise:
