Its a really cool concept, but in reality it would have been just another underfunded attempt by AMC to produce yet another vehicle on an existing platform.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Someone needs to build a real frame for it and put a WRX/STi or Focus RS drivetrain in it.

I fixed a flat tire on a Focus RS today. First one I've ever seen in person, and I got to drive it. In the parking lot.
