I don't do these too often, so hopefully I picked something moderately difficult.  :hammerhead:

Colin

Sorry to blow your hypothesis that it might be difficult.....

Riveaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire (aka God's Own County!).

I've been there....

Colin

Sorry, sir!

I was pretty sure it was in the UK, and so started thinking of the better known ruined abbeys (we've got more than a few), and got to this one pretty quickly!

giant_mtb

No worries.  I really just couldn't think of any place that would be difficult, so I just picked a place that I had gone when I was in the UK about 5 years ago.

hotrodalex

I can never think of a place that is difficult yet not impossible.

Is the grass maintained, or is it just naturally bright green and short?

It will be naturally green..... this is northern England, after all! Having said that, my lawn has been brown since May as we have had remarkably little rain this summer.

The Abbey is "owned" by English Heritage, so doubtless they do cut the grass to keep it looking tidy.

Things are a bit too green for us this summer! I will gladly send you some of our rain. What's your email address?
