After 800 years of production, the current G is set to be replaced by an entirely new model, that looks almost identical to the current one. Looks like Merc is taking one out of the 911 playbook.

~Headlamp washer nozzles
~Rear wheel cover
~Sunlight visor
~Doorhandle buttons
~(one other thing I'm forgetting about)
I hope it comes with a off roading package (lift + chunky tires) though my guess is that isn't in the cards.

I'm sure there will be an off road version. Perhaps not initially, but shit...the 4x4^2 is about as badass as it gets...I'm sure they'll keep the tradition going.

I mean a somewhat sane one, not a 9 inch lift.
Seeing as you can't get air springs on it, I'd say a three inch factory lift, 33-35" tires and better underbody protection would be a good start.
