It's fantastic for a lifelong Porschephile. I can't see ever spending that kind of cash on this over more completely modern alternatives.

I see it differently. The McLaren, Porsche 918, LaFerrari... they're all Apple Watches. Well finished, with lots of tech and performance. But the Singer is a Rolex.

I'd sort of like to see their take on a 2002 or 635Csi
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I´ve seen a few very well done restomods on BMWs. I do lust after one of those. But I think nothing BMW exists at Singer's level.

I'm sure there are a few shops that can build something on the same level. If you give them the $$$.

3.0 CS needs period correct wheels... I'd prob go 3.0 CS over the 8 just for the weight, but I would need it spot welded solid

Those wheels are very much period correct, except for the size. And they're solid cars, even by modern standards.

Sorry but I just can't get over the top front lip of the hood ever being the most prominent (forward) part of any car.

I'd go to way more classic car shows if stuff like that 3.0CS would show up instead of the completely boring crowd of 60s muscle cars.

It's why I like the concourse d'lemons type events.

That's why I love the local Cars & Coffee events. Never know what sort of cool old iron is gonna show up.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...
