The mighty CR-V has just been dethroned.

Nah. No rational person needs this superfluous so-called "luxury". CR-V more than enough.

There was talk about this getting some new TTV6 engine or something.  There's also talk about Acura bringing back "Type-S".  That engine seems like a fitting thing to put in a hypothetical "Type-S".

That seems to be a bit much for the RDX. The 2.0T can probably put a good bit more power out. I'd imagine they'd save the V6TT for the TLX/MDX/very necessary return of the ZDX.

My in-laws used to have a 1st gen RDX and my current brother in law has a 2nd gen RDX.  I've driven both.  I concur the 2nd gen is lame ass while the first gen was a hoot to drive.
