The 9.5L, LS-derived V12 is interesting...

Interesting - looks like the Lexus LF-A.

Not sue sure about the LS V12. Bound to be unique but the LS (V8) can be easily built to a durable, streetable 600 N/A hp, which even then is probably too much for under 2,400 lb vehicle. Just drop in an LS7 and call it a day (yes, LS swap/drop-in is boring, but it's the best bet).

Yeah I agree. V12 is interesting but LS7 is probably better in every way that matters.

I'm curious how the pricing will compare to their other cars, considering it's all carbon fiber.

This is going to be $100k+. For a front engine kit car.

A C8 Z06 or a 911 will be a much better buy IMO. And I don't have to build it.

Maybe with the V12.  It will also accept LS V8s, Ford Windsors, and Ford Modular V8s.

The GTM supercar kit is 25K.  I'm not sure this will be much over $30K sans engine.

I doubt the people looking into F5 kit cars are really cross shopping with...anything.

You mean you don't get to build it. :tounge: But yeah, the business plan here doesn't add up. A good used Viper can be had for much less than this kit will probably cost. The handful of enthusiasts who are willing to pay for a high dollar kit car want a true tribute car, like a Shelby approved Superformance GT40 or Brock Daytona Coupe.

I don't know about any of you, but there aren't enough hammers and nails or rolls of duct tape and tubes of Krazy glue to make me trust my life to a car I built myself.
