Red for me is the only color for the 190SL. Everything else looks rather dull. However there is also a light metallic blue in which the 190SL also looks great.

These weren't very fast or sporty cars. The ancient 1.9-l engine in it was from the pre-war days and was boosted to 105-horsepower in the 190SL.

I agree that a lighter shade of blue can be very attractive on that type of sports car. When I bought my 1970 Alfa Spider used, it was painted a Mediterranean Blue, not a factory colour. I could tell by the dash that the original colour was an off-white Ivory shade. However, it looked especially attractive in that shade of blue. I had it repainted silver after an unfortunate incident, but I regretted doing that. I should have stuck with the blue.
