I had one like him a couple months ago! I was cruising along at about 40 mph and when I stopped the light The Leo pulled along side me and started screaming about how I was doing at least 60 mph! I told him he mite have been doing 60 to catch up with me but I hadn't exceeded 40! He goes on to say how he'll pull his video and show me that I was speeding! The light turned green and I said "OK you're rite sir" and pulled off! SMH!

I'd like to have a bike like that.
Sorry, but 500+ lbs is way too heavy for a dirtbike. Maybe it handles those nice, dry, hard-packed SoCal ATV trails OK, but I'd like to see it in a Northeastern wooded trail with soft, loamy soil, ruts, roots, rocks, and wet/muddy spots. Or even just soft sand (of which there is plenty in the southwest).
If you do a lot of off road you'll want a dual purpose bike not an adventure bike.
My opinion, dirt bikes are cheap...why compromise a road bike for offroad ability?

Funny thing is, dirtbikes have greater sophistication in their design and major components than most road-going bikes. They are every bit as focused as a repli-racer, with perhaps the best performing and best quality suspension components out of the box of any motorcycle and the utmost effort placed on minimizing and centralizing weight.
Depending on where you ride, something a little better suited to rough terrain can be nice. There are some camp roads and just really long, unpaved driveways up in the Adirondacks that I've taken my bike down where I'd wished I'd had something more dirtbike-ish. Even a stretch of highway that was torn up and turned to gravel while they worked on repaving that they used the chunkiest crushed stone I've ever seen used, plus some nasty potholes. Rode through it standing up, dirtbike style.
Nothin wrong with an enduro. Comfy on road, comfy off road.

Don't know about you, but my riding season started a few weeks ago. I"ll be doing a full detail in a few weeks but for now I'm just taking it out every few days for rides to nowhere in particular.

The biker was lucky none of the cops were killed or injured. A few years back there was an incident locally where a cop in a Tahoe tried chasing a speeding motorcyclist. He lost control of his vehicle when he took a corner too fast and was killed in the crash. The motorcyclist was charged with causing the officer's death and went to prison for criminally negligent homicide (I think that was the official charge).
So who gets charged with negligent homicide when a run-away criminal dies in an accident 'cause the damn cops just wouldn't leave him alone. :devil:

I saw the original video a couple of days ago, but it didn't include what started the road rage. Fusion driver is an absolute maniac and needs anger management... Bike dude did stupid stuff too but Fusion dude tried to murder him for lane splitting.
That original video was dumb. Dude was on an R6 and couldn't get away from the Fusion and had to resort to riding in oncoming traffic. :facepalm:

Yeah his excuse was that he's a new rider, which I kinda understand but at the same time it's not hard to accelerate on straight Florida roads.
I probably would have pulled over immediately once the dude started swerving at me. Either he'd keep driving or if he stopped he can get head butted with a motorcycle helmet. :lol:

Yeah I would think as a new rider I'd rather ride faster with the flow of traffic than just riding against traffic at all. :nutty:
His best bet would have been to stop as you said if he wasn't comfortable enough going fast enough to lose a Fusion...
