Why settle for a Chrysler New Yorker when you could have the 1973 Imperial LeBaron?

This was Chrysler's answer to Lincoln and Cadillac.
Caddy.
I love the Olds 98 aswell
I vote for "Glad to not have been alive in the 70s".
I was born in Dec of 1973. So I wouldn't have gave a shit. But I'll take the gas and fire thing.

Yes, happy birthday. I'm on the 6th. My mom never could recall if it was the 6 or 7 when people asked. Both are national tragedies.
Lol, these cars averaged 0-60 mph in 15 seconds, rated 8 mpg city, 13 hwy.
Probability of two people having the same birthday as the sample size grows:

Is that 0-60 in mph or knots?

Makes no sense. I love statistics. If my brain wasn't damaged, I would totally major in statistics.

These are not pimp cars.
This, my Teutonic friend, is a pimp car.

or, for the discriminating pimp amongst pimps, you get the Corvorado.

That doesn't make sense- there are 365 possible birthdays, 23 people would only constitute app. 6% of the possible outcomes, which would not correlate to a .5 probability.

Nah.
I'll take the Cadillac. To say I drive a Cadillac.

I'll take that.
The other 3 all look kinda the same, hard to choose.

Actually, it was 10-11 seconds 0-60 mph (http://www.imperialclub.com/Articles/73MotorTrend/85.jpg).
However, roll back the clock but three model years, and the Caddy and Chrysler had ~50% more power good for 7-8 seconds 0-60 mph.
But definitely the Mopar - nobody built land yachts like the Fury, Imperial, New Yorker, etc., especially as it concerns the 440 V8.

Aw shit. I totally forgot about Imperial. I thought that by the early '70s the brand was dead.

The Imperial marque lasted until 1975. The 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham became the top-drawer Mopar after Imperial's demise.

So what brands did this '73 Chrysler New Yorker compete against? Buick/Oldsmobile? Mercury?

You've got it. Chrysler was considered a semi-luxury marque like those brands you mentioned.

Ah got it. But the '73 New Yorker still looks awesome. Chrysler should seriously release a retro-styled version of this baby IMO. Bring back the glory days!

The 300 is to small. It needs to be over 5 meters long and 2 meters wide and it needs a 440cid V8. :mrcool:
