Skip to 4m, that's where they demo the bike running at full throttle...

I have accepted EV cars, but I'm sorry, I need my bikes noisy. Not for my safety, but for my pleasure.

I do think two wheeled electrification can work but an ICE needs to be in the mix.

I'm fairly certain the Kawi H2 is still the fastest production superbike @ 249 mph.

Anybody see that new Tesla sports car on Jay Leno's Garage? 0-60 in 1.6 seconds, 8 second 1/4 mile, top speed 176 MPH, all electric. High power bill with that one, I bet.

That's the H2R, which is not street legal.

I think the street version is also still the fastest street legal production bike.  The Lightning that hit 218 mph at Bonneville wasn't stock (altered gearing and a lower drag fairing).  Motorcyclist did a drag race and the H2 was quicker through the quarter.  They noted that the Lightning was running out of gear near 150 mph in stock form.  H2 will do 208 off the showroom floor.
