Changed the transmssion filter and fluid today. Put 4qts in, with the torqueconverter it's 8, so I'll have to empty and swap fluid again ina week or so.
The transmission pan is a PITA. 18 bolts, 14 of which are done in about 2 minutes with a socket and extension. However the others are right over a big crossmember, so had to use an endwrench. Oh and there is a mount for the strut right there, so 3 of those were 1/6 turn at a time, the last is so tight it's 1/12 turn at a time. Took FOREVER.!
Then on the way home I see "Rick's Used and New Tires". Only notable because there was a truck with no wheels or tires in front of a bay. Held up by a foorjack on each end. (Maybe there were two in the front, but definitely only one on the back axle.) I'd hate to see what happens if someone bumps the truck or a jack!!!!

I'm going to do the VANmission fluid and filter, and mod the valve body for higher line pressure. Race VAN.

Higher pressure means it can shift "harder"??
It means his transmission will blow out passing through Tennessee.
