Title: belt squeal
Post by: AutobahnSHO on May 12, 2014, 02:44:25 PM
I think it was after I swapped the power steering rack I get some nasty belt squeal upon startup.

It goes away after a few seconds, but it's worse if the A/C is on- where do I even start with this one???

Start with just checking the tensioner and what sort of shape the belt is in.

Loose belt, bad belt, bad tensioner, bad pulley... Pretty much all there is?
