What should I get as a commuter car

I picked up my Chevy Bolt.  Great pickup, quiet and enjoyable to drive, it's pretty much what the hot hatches of back in the day were suppose to be, but only quicker off the line. The seat's definitely horrible, that's one good thing about the i3.

Of the EVs, it seems like the best choice.  Do you still get a government rebate?
