I have no garage, so I'll just park this here:

More to come.

It's a 2wd, 4cyl, road hugging machine. It can hop curbs and that's all it needs.

So many mufflers now. Who puts two mufflers in series? Nobody. I am a revolutionary.

I'm thinking a 475 HP Mopar 360 crate motor would probably spin the wheels pretty nice on that.  ;)

Yeah, that's on my "to do" list, between replace the shocks and do the timing chain.

I put new speakers and Dynamat-like material on the doors. The stereo sounds bitchin now, but could use a subwoofer.

You'll need the new shocks and possibly springs as well for the big motor. The upside is you get to skip the timing chain.

Cop shocks?

"It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas."

I knew someone who drove the same car.

Super Kicks there drove a flareside K1500 extended cab, then a Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab, not the Dakota.

In other words, Nick is no Chuck Norris.

The weather was good today, so I decided to start stripping Ranger's interior.

I took out the seat. Eww.

I ripped out the nasty flooring and scraped up the sound damping junk. I'm not a big fan of these floorboards right now.

I found out the brake master cylinder is leaking, even though the brakes work pretty good. It's always something.

The trash bag that I filled up weighed at least 40 pounds. Pretty good weight reduction right now.

If I try to weld patches of sheet metal, I'll just melt holes in it. I'm thinking about using poprivets with either a seam sealer or a structural adhesive.

I mean, a lot of those resto project trucks have giant rust holes in the floors, so it's not that bad...

Eastwood sells a fiberglass floorboard repair kit that might work for that.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I'm trying to make some kind of profit. I already have pop rivets and sheet metal.

Well, there is that...

See, this is a $450 truck that I put about $400 of parts on already. I need to sell it for $1300-ish to pay myself minimum wage for my labor. If I get the interior decent and promote the "patina" paint job, I hope to get at least $1800.

Ugh. I just want this truck to be done so I can sell it. Maybe I'll just glob fiberglass on it.

This is Dakota's door with a new speaker, and about 2/3 done with my not-dynamat sound damping job. It's done now, and this stuff just works. Quiet doors, no buzzing, crisp bass from $30 speakers.

I think I'll put this stuff all inside of Ranger

What brand of dampening stuff is that?

CaminoRacer

Home Depot brand. Roofing stuff. I used it on my floorboards
