It's always a failed business model when every used car at the same price is a much better option. Same as when Paul Elio was laughed out of every presentation meeting when he predicted sales of 250,000 every year for his $6995 shitbox Elio.

Dacia sold a better car that was at the same price, or even cheaper, than the Nano. Their secret was to use old and completely depreciated tooling, so the capital expenses were much lower than Tata. The Nano needed new factories, new tooling, that's hella krores of rupees.

I worked at Microsoft in the time and my officemate was from West Bengal. He kept telling me that the Communists were going to screw up Tata's plans, and he was practically gleeful when it happened.

Why would anyone want a Nano when they can comfortably load their entire family of 6 on a scooter at a fraction of the price?

That thing looks so cramped. Even with a small driver up front I bet there's not enough legroom in the rear for a normal-sized kid.

BTW that channel is so underrated on Youtube.

If you tried to drift it, it would likely topple over.

But you could create a new driving technique:  The Scandinavian Flip.
