Title: Mazda CX-50

Saw one of these the other day. Didn't realize they were for sale already. I think I like the styling better than the CX-5. The rear of the CX-5 is too rounded.

Other than the styling and a slightly softer suspension, it seems identical to the CX-5. Seating position might be a little lower and car-like too.

The appearance looks more pleasing.  Apparently, it's a bit longer and wider than the CX-5 with slightly higher ground clearance...for off-roading as well as more rugged running gear.

Visually, to me, it's a big improvement.  The little touches make a big difference.

I love my CX-5 but it needs more elbow room; that's what belies the age of the design.

Eh. I think the outgoing CX-5 is a jaw dropper, lithe and crisp and gorgeously cohesive.

Butching up and adding contrasting body cladding feels like a regression IMO. It's like Mazda is feeling self conscious about its masculinity.
