So one of my current jobs is a 2015 Focus EV. Rats ate the wiring. Confession? Never worked on one before. . The goddam thing has three coolant pumps. And three controllers for the pumps. And a buttload of sensors. In order to service the wiring, you have to disconnect the big battery...for 5 minutes...or else...ZAP, your dead...
And stupidly enough, the rat ate a fucking climate control wiring system.
But the POS still won't "run" or "start" or whatever the correct term is...Says "Stop safely Now!" in the message center.

FUCKING GLORIFIED GOLFCART!!!

It is much simpler all in all then an combustion engine.

And the typical ICE car is a glorified lawn tractor. Sorry, but they are ALL that complex electrically now.

There are hot rodders like EV West that modify Tesla drive units and batteries to go into other cars and make more power. If they can figure it out, you can figure it out, you just have to be smarter than a box of rocks. Are you smarter than a box of rocks?
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...
