Somebody is buried under that cross. Note that the person in question is not buried in mass with a bunch of others like is typical in a military cemetary. The others are buried in mass nearby. This particular grave is set apart. Must have been somebody special. ;)
that just makes me think tomb of the unknown soldier, but that's in the U.S.!
